Smallbrook Queensway’s Ringway Centre once had many civic qualities, this is no longer the case. Although many of the civic qualities of The Ringway Centre are no longer present, its historical significance within Birmingham and its representation of the modernist attitudes that the city was built upon at that time are still worth preserving. Spaces on the ground floor and below are converted into an open civic space, a bar and small performance spaces.

I am a final year architecture student with a particular interest in heritage and restoration architecture.
I attained an Architecture BA at Northumbria University in 2016 before joining a practice in Manchester for two years then went on to BCU in 2018.
