Final Project

2020

This project aims to create a neutral ground for refugees to feel valued and recognised, to achieve therapy through socialisation and give them support to start a new life. This open community centre invites the public of Birmingham to help and support refugees’ families and to inform the public about the refugees’ crisis. Another main objective is to create a biophilic inspired environment to re-establish a good memory of nature, with a well-studied private-public balance.

I am Rima and I am an Interior architect graduate from BCU. Multiculturality is part of me and I speak English, Italian and Arabic and English.
I am passionate about art, literature and social architecture. In my projects, I always maintain a user-centred design ensuring an iterative process where the users become part of the team.
