City Pastures

2020

“City Pastures” is a project that aims to create a main hub that provides shelter for the less fortunate in Birmingham and tackles deprivation and health inequalities. One of the objectives of the project is to connect these communities to more affluent ones. My project promotes the use of innovative techniques for sustainable natural food production which contribute to deal with our current climate crisis. This multi-purpose landscape includes areas of community-led agriculture and small growing areas, markets, outdoor kitchens, hydroponic and aquaculture production methods, a shelter for the homeless and several outdoor recreational spaces.

Hello there, I’m Godwin Ameyaw, an ambitious and enthusiastic Landscape Architect. I am currently working for a multi-disciplinary local authority that operates on various small- and large-scale projects.
I have just over 3.5 years of work experience. My interest in Landscape Architecture stems from me wanting to give a part of myself through my expression of design.
