How we currently address the disposal of plastic is of great concern, two thirds of plastic in the UK is sent overseas to be recycled.
This project explores using community plastic waste that is committed to integrating sustainability orientated thinking into research and teaching within a recycling centre that also expresses the process of recycling in its architecture. Keeping the material in use and in the loop forever.

I’m a fully trained school teacher who left teaching to pursue a career in Architecture, throughout my part one I gained experience working in practice in commercial and residential architecture.
I have a keen interest in sustainable architecture exploring this in my final studio group ERA where we challenged the “climate and ecological emergency” and explored ways to take immediate action to address climate change.
