The Farewell Centre

2020

This project powers the thought towards end of life hospice care. The main objective was to design a place that offered holistic healing for patient’s suffering with terminal illnesses.

I wanted the site to enhance nature from the outdoors inside, the building would offer support in many forms and the interiors would stand inviting for people to explore and revisit. A building surrounded by pure nature with a design inspired by Japanese culture and symbolic spiritualism. The Farewell Centre encourages movement of the mind body and soul.

My passion for design stems from my love for architecture, interiors, and art. From a young age I have always envisioned my future to be in the creative industry. My favourite part about being a designer is, having the power to think of a concept in my mind that I can translate to a form to create better change.
