This scheme harnesses the natural resources available from the landscape, to create a healthy place to live, work, learn and celebrate in 2075. The community engages a zero-carbon approach and stores its clean energy from renewable sources on site. It proposes localised living and a circular economy. Dovetailing these values, the masterplan is underpinned by Permaculture principles such as: forest gardening, natural flood management, co-creating community, strawbale construction and water harvesting.
