Liagi di Venezia

2020

This preview of my thesis project demonstrates how this project seeks to provide an architectural resolution to the current political and cultural context of Venice and the residents desire for autonomy.

Based on the studio aspirations and exploration of opera, theatre and performance this proposal investigated the correlation between performance and politics, playing upon the collective memory and success of the Venetian republic to provide a timeless solution to the Venetian future.

I am a student keen to use the experience and knowledge accumulated through my Part I and Part II journeys, to provide solutions to today’s problems and to help people attain a better tomorrow.
I am a student who wishes to benefit and contribute to the world of architecture by responding to environmental, social, cultural and political influences and to ultimately create a better way of living.
