Light

2020

The name concept of the project is Light and the concept was originally developed from mapping sawtooth roof in Digbeth after anylsing the impact sawtooth roof has on space and proven the fact that sawtooth roof brings the most amount of sunlight in into the building. Taking the idea further into design exploration, the forces into my site were transformed into a building. Trying to get the idea from Digbeth and giving it back to Digbeth. From the field diagram, a rule was made by creating grids and projecting to get a form. In Design exploration my aim was trying to convert the conlight into architecture and how that was achieved through breaking down the concept into light and dark. To achive that, the field diagram from design exploration was being man brought to design exploration and a pattern was made evenly according to the amount of light the area requires.

I am currently a graduate of Ba (Hons) Architecture from Birmingham city University. I am passionate about exploring architecture in different ways but mostly conceptual way.
I have a range of skills that I have developed throughout my time at Birmingham city university from cad drawing too graphic. I focus on abstract drawing conceptual drawing and transforming it into a building.
