Final Project

2020

My aim for this project was the importance of independence for my clients. Giving them a space where they can live but also have communal spaces where they can learn new skills that they will need in the future. I decided to focus my design on people dealing with visual and hearing impairments. And that is where my concept of sound waves came in.

Hello, my name is Valeria Meza and I have recently finished my BA interior Architecture degree at Birmingham City university. I was born into a family of creatives, so my devotion for the arts has been there ever since I was a little girl. Interior design was something I grew to love whilst I was doing my foundation course and since then it’s something I have a passion for and would love to continue to pursue my dreams in this field.
These past three years at University have taught me a lot but the main thing I want to take away with me is the importance of doing every project with the same love and excitement and allowing myself to keep my creativity alive whilst improving my skills and knowledge throughout this journey.
